I am a local Rhode Islander and grew up in East Providence. I graduated from Salve Regina University with a dual certification in Elementary Education and Special Education (K-8).
I have taught in Massachusetts and throughout the state of Rhode Island. Some of my experiences include living and working at a boarding school and spending my summers teaching summer school. I am excited for another year in the district and my third year at Emma G. Whiteknact.
Pior to teaching at Whiteknact, I taught third grade at Waddington School all the way in Riverside. Although third grade has been my favorite for years, I am BEYOND EXCITED to begin my new position as the K-2 resource teacher.
When I am not at school, you can find me with my dog Bailey. We take walks (and sometimes long runs) around town. Usually if I decide to go for a run, you can find Bailey at home napping on the couch.
My favorite color is pink and I LOVE bright colors. Even though most people dislike Mondays, I love AWFUL AWFUL Mondays! I eat too much ice cream and I can't eat enough tacos.
